Start Your Day the Best Way

By Rob's Bageland

Regardless of the area you live in or the work you do, the way you start your day impacts your efficiency and determines how it will unfold.

Like athletes, whose mindset is fundamental to being a winner, you can fuel up and reach your potential by adopting a good morning routine.

Out of inspiration and motivation, we encourage you to take action to start your day the best way! Here we offer you a series of ideas that will help you positively start the day and make the most of it.

1. Give Yourself 10 Minutes before Getting Out of Bed

Waking up in a hurry and starting to chase time in the morning is not a good way to put yourself in a positive frame of mind to succeed in your day. Ideally, take 10 minutes to stretch, take a few deep breaths, and realize how lucky you are compared to many people on this planet.

2. Visualize an Energetic and Positive Day

Visualization is a fantastic tool. It is a technique that athletes have been using for a long time. Waking up is conducive to this exercise: positively visualize your day. Imagine yourself in “winning” postures for situations that seem difficult to live in a day.

3. Give Your Biggest Smile

Sometimes it’s hard to see yourself in the mirror in the early morning. This is an opportunity to make a big smile; to your surprise, you will get a beautiful smile in return! A smile sends signals to the brain and affects emotions. In this case, they will be positive, which is perfect to start the day.

4. Exercise

It’s not always easy to start each day with exercise! Diaries are often very complete, and children, transport and lack of discipline can all represent handicaps. On the other hand, you will reap many benefits, whether you opt for running, yoga, walking, etc. This is great for conditioning your body and mindset to face your day. If you can’t exercise, take the stairs, park your car further away than usual, or get off the bus or metro earlier to walk a bit.

5. Plan Your Day

A great generator of stress is the anxiety of not being able to do all that we have to achieve. An effective way to reduce this worry is to organize your day and have a plan. Many people still don’t list all the tasks they have to do and don’t anticipate how long each of them may take. It becomes easy to get overwhelmed or distracted by activities that are not always planned (emails, web, discussions, etc.).

7. Soak up the Positive Vibes

You don’t have to start your day looking at the long list of emails waiting for you and starting to stress you out or soak up the bad news the media has picked to sting your curiosity and lower your morale. You also can listen to tunes that give you energy and visit sites or social networks that convey positive messages. Don’t worry. Bad news will come to your ears very quickly; some people are specialists in slashing your morale!

6. Eat a good breakfast

Fueling the body before a long day is essential to staying in a positive state of mind and facing the obstacles of the day. Beyond eating a balanced diet, be sure to take the time to enjoy it.

Many people skip this most important meal of the day because they don’t feel like eating and are part of the “only eat when you’re hungry” team. Too often, that first meal is eaten standing up in a “mechanical” way. But if you want to start your day with all the energy you need, enjoy a varied breakfast in the morning, rich in nutrients. You’ll notice the difference throughout the day.

Make or home or order online. Consider it as your date with yourself. You can also enjoy it on your to your work. For example, you can find the best restaurants in Tamarac, FL, to order your breakfast online. Some of the best recommendations

  • The classic eggs with bacon,
  • A big meal with everything in it: eggs, cheese, ham, bacon or sausage, served with potatoes, oatmeal or whatever you like, or
  • The ultimate bagel with creme cheese.
